Projects

What's wrong with this picture? One is bigger than the other and not as tight and neat. And each stripes differently. Blah!
Irish Hiking Scarf
I started this thing a couple years ago, I think. It's been sitting in the yarn closet and gets moved around every once in a while. I took it out the other night in hopes of finally finishing it. I don't know why I haven't worked on it. It's semi-mindless and a really nice pattern. Oh well!

Hydrangea

Hydrangea
A couple of years ago, Pete transplanted this hydrangea from the monster perrenial garden to the side of the garage. It has thrived since moving but no flowers until now. One lonely bunch. But one lonely bunch is so much better than no bunches.

You Never Know When You Might Need Some Mittens

Anatolian Mittens, finally finished, just in time for, well, nothing. Though I could have used them on Monday perhaps. It was a tad bit cold.

Pattern: Anatolian Mittens from Folk Mittens
Yarn: Wendy Guernsey
Needles: #2 addi turbo 40" for Magic Loop and #2 Inox dpn's for thumbs
I'm happy with how they came out though I don't really like the pattern. They are a little too busy for me. I gained a lot of confidence in doing colorwork.
This baby set is totally finished now. All blocked and buttons sewn on. They are cute little hearts I bought at The Mill Store. Meghan will give it to her teacher on Thursday.
