February flew! March always means impending spring to me but this year something is askew. We didn't get any meaningful snow until February. Another messy storm is predicted for tonight into tomorrow. Luckily, I have the day off and don't need to go anywhere.
On the knitting front, I finished one of The Man's Honkin' Birthday Socks. I used Trekking XXL color 69. He liked it and it fits perfectly. That makes me very happy! The second one is started-the cuff is done and now I'm on the boring old stockinette leg.

I also started the Cable-Down Raglan from Spring 2007 Interweave Knits but I'm not loving it. Oh I love the pattern (I love anything top down) but the yarn I'm using isn't doing anything for me. The color is boring-kind of an irish knit off white color and I have no clue what the fiber is. It might be wool, it might be acrylic/wool, it might be acrylic. No clue! It doesn't have alot of body. That pattern deserves a much nicer yarn. So another project abandoned. Par for the course for me. Now I'm doing a Bea Ellis Knitwear hat kit-"Ufserud". I like it. I'm learning how to use both hands for the colorwork and it's been going fairly smoothly. So far it's not puckering very much. There will pictures when I'm done.
